Changing the icon on a movie file
Movie files on the PS3 get a default icon of the first 15 seconds. This often means the opening credits, making it hard to quickly distinguish between movies.
You can change the icon to be any 15 seconds from the movie, allowing for something more memorable. To do this:
Play the movie then press the triangle key to show the movie options. Select the ‘change icon’ option from the top row. The current 15 seconds will be used for the icon. Or change to a specific chapter in the movie and repeat.
